PARATUS™—Be prepared.

A conference on being prepared for a crisis and planning for the unexpected.

The world as we know it is becoming ever more complicated and confusing. This is true in every aspect of life including political structure, social conduct, spiritual battles and even family dynamics. There’s a certain disunity that all of us feel in one way or another—a sense of not being prepared for what could come next.

That is why MEN OF CHRIST® has started an apostolate called PARATUS™, where we will build a faith-based community to share knowledge, develop resources and plan for the unexpected.

You are invited to the first meeting of PARATUS on the evening of May 10th and the morning of the 11th at the Schoenstatt Center in Waukesha.

It is important to understand that PARATUS is not a radical fringe group, but rather a union of responsible men and women who have an action plan for times that could be challenging. Think about how COVID disrupted everything. An environmental or weather event could upheave our lives in an instant. Where do we turn for necessities like food and water? How do we communicate when networks are compromised? How do we maintain our spiritual focus when major disruption occurs?

As people of faith and action, we have a duty to our families and brothers and sisters in Christ to be prepared, and more important, to build a community that understands the urgency. We all have expertise that we should be willing to share with like-minded individuals such as food preservation, construction and electrical, automotive repair, medical needs, and so forth. If we have a plan in place, we alleviate the anxiety and are prepared to lead our families.

Our speakers will share practical advice on planning for the unplanned, and you will have plenty of time to meet like-minded men and women. Registration is limited to 215, and a $50 per-person fee will help cover the costs of our speakers, travel, food and beverages, and the use of the Schoenstatt facility.
