The Church of the Resurrection, Lansing, Michigan to Host Eucharistic Procession

Lansing, Michigan—A Eucharistic procession and rosary will be held on October 17 at the Church of the Resurrection, 1505 East Michigan Avenue, Lansing, Michigan 48912 at 11:30 A.M. Sponsored by Men of Christ, Wisconsin, iNVICTUS CHRISTUS, and Catholic Men United, the procession is open to the public, and all are encouraged to attend. This event, part of the nationwide movement Unite Our Nation, is prayerful, non-political and family-friendly.

Designed to help bring peace and prayer to Lansing, Michigan, and healing to our nation, it is being planned by local organizers. Clergy will lead the procession and everyone is invited to pray the patriotic rosary for all fifty states.

According to Darren O’Brien, event organizer, “In these challenging times, we see the grave need for faithful Catholics everywhere to rally around the Eucharist and unite with Our Blessed Mother. God is calling His people. We need to storm heaven with prayer and spiritual reparation. So that we can pour out God’s mercy. Literally, we look to flood our cities with the cleansing waters of God’s love and healing grace. ”

The faithful will process from the Church of the Resurrection to the State Capitol building and finally to St. Mary’s Cathedral. The route is approximately 1.4 miles, with ample parking at the Cathedral for the event. Bussing will be provided to event from parking area.
