LaPorte, Indiana—A Eucharistic procession and rosary will be held on October 4 at St. Joseph Church, 109 C Street, LaPorte, Indiana 46350 at 1:00 P.M. The procession is open to the public, and all are encouraged to attend. This event, part of the nationwide movement Unite Our Nation, is prayerful, non-political and family-friendly.

Designed to help bring peace and prayer to LaPorte, Indiana, and healing to our nation, it is being planned by local organizers. Clergy will lead the procession and everyone is invited to attend.

According to Nancy Bowen, event organizer, “We want to bring glory to God and hope to all through a strong, reverent procession, giving witness to people of all races and beliefs.”

The procession will begin at Joseph Church and make 5 stops: St. Peter’s Church to pray for the dignity of life; City Hall to pray for our police, fire, and first responders; County Courthouse to pray for our city and county leaders, our nation and our world; LaPorte Hospital to pray for the sick, our healthcare workers and an end to the pandemic; and Boston Middle School to pray for our teachers, principals, and our students. Please contact Nancy Bowen at 219-608-4984 or nbowen2009@gmail.com with any questions.
