Ave Maria, Florida—A Eucharistic Procession and rosary will be held on October 22 at Ave Maria University, 5050 Ave Maria Boulevard, Ave Maria, Florida 34142 at 5:00 P.M. The procession is open to the public, and all are encouraged to attend. This event, part of the nationwide movement Unite Our Nation, is prayerful, non-political and family-friendly.

Designed to help bring peace and prayer to Ave Maria, Florida, and healing to our nation, it is being planned by local organizers. Clergy will lead the procession and everyone is invited to pray the patriotic rosary for all fifty states.

According to Marcelino Roxas, event organizer, “We will pray the patriotic rosary, asking Our Blessed Mother to intercede for our country. We’re bringing Mary and Jesus out of our churches and back into the public.”

The student body will congregate in front of the Thomas and Shelby Prince Building, processing in a counter-clockwise manner around a small area of campus, and at one point will process next to Ave Maria Boulevard across from the parish. All non-students are encouraged to participate in the procession from the parish side of Ave Maria Boulevard in front of the Oratory building. Please contact Marcelino Roxas at 262-665-3008 or marcelino.roxas@my.avemaria.edu with any questions.
